Our Centre`s goal is to build and engage communities by mainstreaming and popularizing ideas and information related to sustainable investments as they relate to our organization’s core value.
Our Centre helps in building projects that better the environment and humanity and invest in human capital as main drivers for economic development, prosperity and welfare. We support investments in building platforms to help further sustainability initiatives, especially those related to entrepreneurship, women, education, environment, technology and smart agriculture in our community and across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In 2017, the Cleanwave founders, Line Hadsbjerg and Philipp Baier, together with the support of a dedicated team, set out to find solutions to prevent single-use plastic and create a movement of like-minded businesses and individuals who were committed to shifting the single-use culture to a reuse mindset. This was achieved by creating the first network of water refill points across the Balearic Islands, where residents and tourists can fill their reusable water bottles, thus providing an alternative solution to plastic water bottles.

The initiative grew rapidly, which led to developing a creative educational program, producing an award winning documentary film , installing the first, of now many, public water fountains in the streets of Palma, in collaboration with the local government, mobilizing community engagement and providing single-use plastic free water solutions to events across the islands.

However, in 2020, there was a realisation that if Cleanwave was truly to have an impact, the projects had to aim beyond plastic solutions and awareness, to include active preservation and restoration of the natural world. Therefore, in 2020, the Founding team decided to change the organisation from an association (Onaneta-Cleanwave Association) to a foundation (Cleanwave Foundation), with the intention to involve communities in the protection and regeneration of the land and the sea in the Mediterranean.

Together with a passionate and dedicated team, we share a vision of the Balearics to be a globally recognised template and role model for regenerative living by 2030.

Cultiva was supporting regenerative agriculture practices like reduced tillage, providing potting mix use, sustainable grazing practices, and adopting the use of cover crops where feasible. These options help build organically rich soils to draw more carbon from the atmosphere, allow farmers to limit chemical inputs, reduce soil tillage and increase productivity all of which can help ensure the viability of farmland for countless generations to come.

The Cyclades Preservation Fund (CPF | www.cycladespreservationfund.org) supports sustainable initiatives and promotes the preservation of the exceptional beauty and natural value of the Cyclades, Greece, as the rise of visitor flows creates significant pressures to the natural environment. The cornerstone of CPF’s mission is the empowerment of local communities, backed up by investment for the environment. We raise funds to support and enable bottom-up conservation projects that the islanders have embraced, as well as educational activities and awareness raising campaigns, for residents and visitors alike, to make the right choices when it matters the most.
