The Matchmaking Event for the Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030” is taking place on 4 March 2024. The event will be organised at the occasion of the “Mission Ocean and Waters Forum”, which will take place in Brussels on 5 March 2024.

Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030” Annual Forum: Towards 2030

The second Annual Forum of the Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters” will take place on 5 March 2024 in Brussels and will aim at taking stock of the Mission’s progress and major achievements, at mobilising relevant actors around key Mission deliverables and at preparing the ground for the next phase of the Mission, moving from demonstration to deployment.

About the Matchmaking Event:

The Matchmaking event aims at facilitating the uptake and replication of solutions to implement the Mission Ocean and Waters, with particular focus on supporting Charter signatories for the deployment of the Mission.  It will feature presentations by:

1. Mission projects, on solutions to test and deploy in each basin.
2. Charter signatories (e.g. regions, islands, cities, ports, MPAs), on their proposed actions
3. Philanthropies and investors, on possible support
